DIgSILENT Pacific appointed for Sino Iron Network Modelling
DIgSILENT Pacific has been appointed by CITIC Pacific Mining (CPM) to develop a PowerFactory software model of the huge Sino Iron project in North-West Australia. The Sino Iron network is large even by mining standards, including a 450 MW combined cycle gas fired power plant along with 220 kV and 33 kV electrical reticulation.
Our deliverables include providing PowerFactory software and training, delivering a complete PowerFactory model of the network including a detailed model of the network, protection systems and dynamic models. A further component of the project includes generator testing services and model validation.
DIgSILENT is excited about this project and is looking forward to delivering a successful outcome in the coming months.
